Mining

Mining

Ever dreamed of making lumps of money just by mining? Mining takes skill and determination. This detailed guide will give you all the details in what mining is all about:

There are a few caves in Fiesta where you can mine at, one of the popular caves is Echo Cave. The other caves are Windy Cave and Golden Cave.

Echo Cave is located in both Sand Beach, Forest of Tides, and Sea of Greed.
Windy Cave is located in Goblin Camp and Moonlight Tomb.
Golden Cave is located in Uruga.

Before you can start mining, you are required to know the Mining Gather Skill and have a Pickaxe:

Go to Skill Master Ruby in Roumen (see Roumen City Guide). Click on her and click the Purchase Scroll button. Click the Alchemy icon (3rd icon). On the top left should be the Mining Gather Skill.

Cost: 350 Copper

Cast Time: 7 seconds

Go to Item Merchant Pey (see Roumen City Guide). Click on her and click the Purchase button. The Pickaxe is the 1st icon in the 4th column.

Required Level: 1

Weapon Type: Two Handed Weapon

Attack Rate: 1 second

Description: A normal Pick used for mining minerals and ores.

Cost: 350 Copper

This is the symbol for Echo Cave as well as Windy Cave and Golden Cave. When going to the cave, on any map that the cave is on, look for the pickaxe symbol on the map.

You have to be teleported into the cave by a miner. On every map that has a cave on it, there will be a miner. The miner guards the entrance of the cave by standing outside the closed-down cave entrance. Roumen Miner Dol Turn, Roumen Miner Palmers, and Roumen Miner Royquin are the names of the miners.

How to mine:

First, you have to find a copper ore to mine.

Image:copper_ore_1.png

Second, you have to double click it to start mining the copper ore. The green bar with the orange line on it has a special meaning to it. As you will see, the green bar moves back and forth from the beginning of the line to the end. The goal is to click on the orange line once the green bar hits it. You must hit it at the right time, which means when you click on the orange line, the green bar must be exactly on it, not before or after it. If you click it at good timing, the orange line will flash and it will enable you to crack open the ore faster (helps if someone is trying to crack open the ore faster than you and trying to get the loot). This also applies to getting loot from bushes and wood (they drop apples, herbs, and other items).

And third, once the copper ore breaks, if you are lucky enough, you will find a little copper ore inside it.

Types of ore you can mine:

Well, that's pretty much it. Mining takes time and effort so you have to be patient. In Fiesta, ore is very valuable and you will gain lots of money from it. Just be wise when buying and selling ore. When you go into the cave, make sure to have your pickaxe with you so you don't have to go all the way to Roumen, or any other city, and get your pickaxe from the Storage Keeper. It's a long walk. Also make sure to have a couple of potions with you because chances are you will get attacked by a monster if you are not high enough level. If there's a cleric nearby, ask him/her to aid you because clerics can heal you if you are injured. Also, if there is a high level player there with you, ask him/her to help you in taking the monsters down.

Good luck and have fun!!
