Guild Tournament

Source: http://fiesta.outspark.com/news/view/?id=zbn.8912

Observing the Tournament

You have the option to observe the Guild Tournament if you aren't in a guild or your guild isn't participating but you want to watch other guilds fight.

Go to the Guild Manager in either Roumen, Elderine, or Uruga. Speak to them and click on "Guild Tournament (Beta)".

On the Guild Tournament (Beta) panel that pops up, click on Register.

You will be asked to pay a fee to register yourself into the Guild Tournament. This happens by default but if you are there to only observe, the game shouldn't charge you. Just click ok.

A list of the guilds participating in the Guild Tournament will appear.

Click on the Schedule button on the Guild Tournament (Beta) panel to have the Guild Tournament schedule appear. Click on any guild to start watching them fight.

Registration

Registration begins Monday through Thursday and you can do so with any of the Guild Managers within Roumen, Elderine, and Uruga. Registration will be limited to guilds with 5 or more players that are level 20 or above. Once registered, anyone in the guild can participate without any level restrictions.

Registration cost is 1 gold which is paid at the guild master at the time of registration.

A total of 16 teams will be chosen at random for that week's tournament. There are NO REFUNDS, even if your guild has not been chosen to participate. Those 16 guilds will not be able to accept new member nor will players be able to leave the guild until the tournament is over for that week.

Participation

Each guild member of the participating guild will receive a pop-up window 5 minutes prior to the start of each match. Once participation is confirmed, the player will be automatically teleported into the Guild Tournament map where the match will begin shortly after. If no one confirms participation, or if there are no guild members present at the time of confirmation, the guild will forfeit the match.

There is no limit to the amount of players that can participate in each match, which means that guild strength and organization will be crucial to success.

Matches can also be observed through the Guild Tournament bracket screen by clicking on the guild you'd like to watch.

Inside the Guild Tournament

When the guild tournament starts, you will see the text "START" across your screen.

This is the map of the battlefield where the guilds battle against each other.

As the tournament goes on, you can see how each guild is doing by looking at the scoreboard underneath the map on the right side of your screen.

During the match, you can see the status of each guild (the score for every player in each guild) and the option to quit the match.

Scoring

There are 3 ways to win.

- Capture all 5 flag locations and hold them for five minutes (sort of like Capture-the-Flag).
- Have the higher score between the two teams when the time expires, there are 30 minutes each round.
- Be the first to reach the maximum score of 1000 before the time runs out.

When a flag is captured, it will become a new teleport point. When a user dies, and spawns back at their base, they can teleport to any of the captured Flag locations.

Every time a guild member is killed, the guild master will receive a point which can be used to buff everyone in the guild or debuff every guild member in the enemy guild.

If the score is tied when the match time runs out, a roll of dice will determine the winner, which will appear on screen.

There will be a scoreboard and a timer below the map on the top-right corner of your screen. The timer shows how much time there is left. The scoreboard shows the score for each guild.
