Enhancement Stones and Appearance

Enhancement Stones and Appearance

Ever wanted to have that shiny glowing weapon that you saw the other player had? Well, that shiny glow was caused by enhancement. This guide will show you what to use for in enhancing your weapon, shield, or armor.

Definition: In Fiesta, Item Enhancement is when you make your weapon, shield, or armor stronger by putting more power into it. This power will affect your weapon, shield, or armor by increasing it's damage/defense rate Image:damage_rate.png Image:def_rate.png and boosting it's power level up (you will see a [ 3] or whatever number next to your weapon/shield/armor's name Image:power_level.png Image:shield_power_level.png). This power will also give your weapon or shield the shiny glow that will make others stare at it in admiration. Armor does not give off that glow like the weapon or the shield does.

What you need:

- A weapon, shield, or piece of armor of your chose (level or class doesn't matter)

- An enhancement stone (elrue, lix, xir)

- If you want, you can purchase from the Fiesta Store a Red Eye, Blue Miles, or Gold Nine, which will make your Item Enhancement experience even better by giving you luck in not breaking your weapon and making the enhancement even stronger on your weapon, shield, or piece of armor.

Stone Info:

- The stones work in tiers, or levels. If you have a high-level weapon or shield, sometimes their item level will be a 2 Image:item_level.png or sometimes it will be higher. Their item level depends on their overall class level (For instance, the Stout Hammer is a level 30 weapon for clerics so only level 30 clerics can use it. Since the Stout Hammer is at that level, it is given an item level of 2). If you have a low-level weapon or shield (like a level 5), then it's item level will most likely be a one. You must match the Elrue's item level to your weapon/shield/armor's item level. If your weapon/shield/armor's item level is 1, get a Tier 1 (Level 1) Elrue (it will say Elrue[1]). If your weapon/shield/armor's item level is 2, get a Tier 2 (Level 2) Elrue (it will say Elrue[2]). That's how the stones work in levels.

- If your weapon/shield/armor has no power level on it (you won't see any brackets or numbers next to its name), then elrues are the stones to use on it. Elrues enhance items from power level 1-3. If your weapon/shield/armor has a power level of 3 already on it, then you will need Lix. Lix enhance items from power level 4-6. If your weapon/shield/armor has a power level of 6 on it, you will need Xir. Xir enhances items from power level 7-9. Power level 9 is the finish line, and by then, your weapon or shield will be glowing at its shiniest glow and you will be proud. Armor does not glow.

- All 3 stones have 3 special attributes to them. You will oftentimes see these attributes while you are playing Fiesta. These attributes are Normal (green color), Blessed (purple color), and Lucky (blue color). Except for the Normal attribute, the other 2 attributes will be seen next to the stone's name (Lucky Elrue). Here are what each attribute does for the enhancement of your weapon/shield:

- Normal does what a regular stone will do, nothing special to it, except for the result of the enhancement.
- Blessed decreases your weapon/shield/armor's chance of breaking, and also has a small chance of a 2.

- Lucky raises your weapon/shield/armor by 2 instead of 1 by a small chance.

Fiesta Store Enhancement Stones Info:

In the Fiesta Store, you are allowed to purchase 3 kinds of special stones that will help you better enhance your weapon/shield/armor. These are the Perfect Red Eye, Perfect Blue Mile, and Gold Nine. They work the same way that the regular enhancement stones do except the special stones have more affect on the result of the enhancement and they are referred to as "Grades" not Tiers. Here are what each of the special stones do:

- Perfect Red Eye decreases the breakage rate by 100% when enhancing.

- Perfect Blue Mile decreases the chance of enhancement level degradation by 100% when enhancing.

- Gold Nine increases the chance of enhancement success by 15% when enhancing.

Where to get the stones from:

- Stone Production Skill

- Monster Drops

- Mining ore (any kind)

- Quest Rewards

- Kingdom Quest Rewards

- Treasure Chests

For the Stone Production Skill, read the Stone Production Guide. For how to select a Production Skill, go to the Selecting a Production Skill Guide. Basically, all you do is select the Stone Production Skill, get the acquired materials you need to make the desired Stone. Before you decide to make the desired Stone, you need to go to the Skill Master and purchase the Stone scroll in the Alchemy tab. When you click on the Skill Master, a panel will appear at the bottom. One of the buttons to click will be Purchase. Click on that, and a new panel will appear in the middle of your screen. In this panel are 3 icons: Active, Passive, and Alchemy. Click on the third one, which is Alchemy. Find the desired Stone scroll you want (if you are just starting, it should be the Elrue[1] scroll...has a picture of an elrue on it) and purchase it. After you buy it, right click on it to learn it. Once you've learned it (Go to the Skills List>Stone Production Panel and the Elrue[1] title will be in blue while the rest will be in red), you can then make it.

Mining ore will give you the ore that you need to make the stones (starting at Lix[1]). Monster Drops do the same and will sometimes give you the stones straight off the bat if you are lucky. The other locations give you either the materials and/or the stones right off the bat.

To learn how to enhance your weapon, shield, or armor, go to the How-To Guide.
